Thankyou for the Memories

When you look back at work that you did years ago, a certain sense of pride comes over you as well as a feeling that you're incredibly old...

So here's a life drawing:

And this was my outcome for my Secularism project, which was plaster slabs with acetone prints and gouache:

The left is a photograph I took of the statue of Laocoon and his sons in Rome, and the right is a still from "La Belle et La Bete", an absolutely stunning french film. The painting layer was exploring the idea of physical  imprisonment.
